Procrastination?
We strung up the bright and cheery Christmas lights over 2 weeks ago. It was a freezing cold weeknight, in which I completely risked my neck on the icy ladder. Plus, some bulbs sacrificed themselves in the hanging.... now to find the extension cords I misplaced!

Christmas time is here Happiness and Cheer
Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of year.....
I just love Christmas. I love the sounds and smells and the TASTES! I love the charity that fills the air. I cant wait to come home and plug in the tree, play with Oli and relax with my husband. I love the traditions that my family and my new family have. From gingerbread houses, fondue dinner, to small family reunions with a spread of holiday food, not to forget Christmas Vacation and Mr. Beans Christmas, Its a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story & other classics. My life is my family and I love every minute with them. Even as we speak, Oli and Jack are having one of their moments. Jack comes nose to nose (but knows not to lick) and Little O has both hands around Jack's snout and laughing so hard! Life is bliss
I just wanted to share some of my holiday cheer

Look a little closer, instead of 'baby's first Christmas' ornaments I made blocks to put in the tree and in the house with Oliver's picture on them

HOW COULD YOU RESIST THIS FACE?????

5 months 1 week ago!
Oli has been 5 months for about a week now and I finally have time to catch up! He is just cruising along in development and just keeps on progressing!
Oli has found his lower lip and sucks on it all of the time
He has become quite an expert on baby talk, my favorite part of this new language is his “mmmmmooommmoomomommmma” noise. Even though it is not intentional yet, my heart just melts every time I hear it
He rolls all over, if you put Oli on the ground not even 1 min will pass that he has rolled from one end of the mat to the other. He just struggles with the belly to back motion- He reaches and attempts to grab at his surroundings, he is getting more meticulous with his motions
- Oli and Jack have a special relationship, Jack will come right up to Oli and put his face inches away, just close enough that Oli can grab/pet Jack and not get attacked by Jacks licking.
- He loves musical games like ‘pop goes the weasel’ and ‘the itsy bitsy spider’
This kid is great at self entertaining and sometimes prefers it. - He grabs his feet and turns into this awkward ball and will roll back and forth with blowing drool between his lips
- When Oli is tired and we are getting ready to go somewhere, he will fall asleep just minutes into the drive.
- During tubby time he has to play with his blue rubber duck or else he will try to roll around in the water to find it
- We will place Oli in the center of his crib and somehow he manage to make it up to the corner by he bumpers so his head is perfectly in the triangle (how do I stop this?)
- I have learned that as a new mom whenever you enter a room you always search and plan your escape route.
