Memorial Day Weekend

This last weekend we joined most of our family up in Idaho for a wonderful camping trip. We are very grateful to Rory and Jennine for letting us stay in their toy hauler because we would have been sleeping in mud!! That same mud got us all stuck for 3 hours.... We finally made it alive!!!

On our way home our wonderful dog Jack decided he was sick of the car. We were driving off of 106th S and 30th W when he decided to roll his window down and dive while the car was going about 40 mph!!! I thought for sure he was dead, but he just started to trot around. Curtis ran and picked him up and brought him back in the car. We had a vet look at him and determined he was just bumped and bruised with some road rash. Unfortunately, his poor little behind got the worst of it. He got major road rash on his bum, so bad it was just bleeding and bleeding. He is recovery and seems somewhat sore, but back to his usual self. He has become such a big part of mine and Curtis life and is apart of our family. We are so grateful and lucky that he was fine!!!

I worry way too much

So sometimes Curt and I leave Jack out when we go somewhere because he has been good. When we come home Jack is always waiting at the door, wagging tail and all. After an enjoyable FHE with some wonderful friends we came home and to our surprise.... no Jack!!! Of course I am a worrier and immediately thought he was dead or something like that. Curtis and I wandered around the house and still no sign. I walked back to the bedroom and heard a little noise. Jack had fallen asleep in his kennel! What is up with this dog, this was completely random for him but I guess to each their own:)

After work today Curtis and I came home and did the usual routine. Come home, let the dog out, get the mail, let the dog in, feed the dog, make dinner, put the dog out to do his duties... etc. We came back in the house and about 5 min later i realized Jack wasn't sitting with Curtis. I called for him and even tried to get him with the ice cube dispenser, still no dog. Curtis and I searched the whole house... No Jack!! Very confused we went outside and started to look for him. We have never lost Jack before and again I was starting to worry! Jack was no where, we came back to the house and Curtis just opened the closet and there he was JACK!!! he had been sitting, so very quietly in the closet the whole time and didn't make a peep! Dang dog!

I AM AN AUNT X 2!!!

Oh these babies are the cutest! I absolutely love being an aunt and think this probably isn't the best thing to ease my baby hunger! Both Jennine and Kristi did an amazing job and look absolutely beautiful! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family who is growing so quickly, I can't believe it! How AWESOME
